Traveller from Tamworth stayed in November,2007

Guest Comment:
Twin Bedroom was cramped. Our experience of German hotels should have made us expect that a double bed was in fact 2 matress'. Oue friends had a double room & it was positively spacious. The Lounge furniture was nice period style, but seating uncomfortable & requires overhaul & re-upholstery. Parking was an acceptable small extra, but we had not realised we were within the pedestrianised area & had to pass through 'security checks'

Top Tip:
Lots of Cafes & 'basic' restaurants. We could not find a quality restaurant for the Saturday evening or Sunday Lunch & hotel reception did not provide useful guidance
