It was excellent. Our only negative comment was the lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
Top Tip
The Mozart concert/dinner in the Stiftskeller was very good.

the hotel is comfortable, clean and the food and staff excellent . the public accommodation is however not adequate for the number of guests. I was unable to have breakfast until after 8.00a.m. because the coach parties occupied the whole dining area and on one occasion I had to eat in the lounge from a small table with my plates on the floor beside me and then had to submit to comments from each guest as they left the dining area. On one evening which was very wet I found that there was nowhere to sit quietly where i could read. My room was quite small and had no comfortable chair to use only a wooden uncushioned one. I feel that this hotel while good in many ways is NOT AT ALL SUITABLE FOR AN INDEPENDENT TRAVELLER ESPECIALLY A SINGLE PERSON

Excellent hotel, staff very courteous, friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend it to my friends

Tours offered were very interesting and informative but the best way to see the town is by walking around and finding all the interesting places yourselves, places the tour buses cannot reach. Restaurants were very good overall and the Mozart Concert and Dinner was outstanding.

this hotel is about 15 mins walk from the old town where most of the attractions are.the staff were really friendly and helpful.no hot breakfast and no bar facilities except a mini bar in your room.we had a corner room which was spacious and had a loveley view of the mountains.
Top Tip
very close to a restaurant called pasta and vino which is actually more like a small cafe but serves excellent food.booking is usually essential.
