Hotel located in quite area a nice 10 minute stroll to the centre. Hotel room in the villa was large and clean. The breakfast provided was very good. Only disadvantage with the villa was that there was no lift/elevator.

ideal distance from station, and a relaxed distance from the main attractions. quiet, even with a roadside room.Loved being able to borrow bicycles to whizz around the city.

hotel didn't answer email regarding public transport from airport and it was nowhere on their website. But really no point getting a taxi - the number 2 bus stops very near - it's a 2 min walk at most and only cost €1.80.
Would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room.
Delicious breakfast - look out for the homemade marmalade.
Top Tip
Wasserfall restaurant was excellent, good value for money and close to hotel. The hotel reception will be happy to book it for you as it gets very busy.
Hotel Stein ( on the left just before you cross the bridge to the old town) a must for coffee and cake and to appreciate the views.

The honesty policy on the communal mini-bar (soft drinks only) was very refreshing and the breakfast hours of 6.30-11am showed fantastic customer focus.

Try the Alter Fuchs (Old Fox) on Linzergasse, 5 mins walk from hotel - it had a great game menu when we went in late November

A wonderful place to stay. Attentive service, fantastic breakfast and relaxing spa all excuse the lack of a hospitality tray in the bedroom and the 10 minute walk into the Old Town. Make the most of the excellent reception staff for restaurant recommendations and local bus routes to visit Helbrunn and Leopaldskron.
