Salzburg airport - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is located about 4 km west of the city and has one terminal. There is a frequent bus service to the main bus station, adjacent to the railway station, approx every 15 minutes costing about 2 euros. There is a Taxi rank directly outside the terminal building. The journey to the city centre takes around 20 minutes and costs around €15.

Salzburg main station provides a comprehensive intercity rail network with services to Vienna, Munich, Innsbruck and Zurich. In the centre of the city, there is a trollybus and bus system with more than 20 lines and an S-Bahn rail network servicing Salzburg's surrounding areas as well as the centre of the city.
